Feature & Follow Friday #30

Happy Follow Friday everyone! Let me tell you a little bit about this HOP. Every friday or really Thursday evening we all get together and say HI! But, we need to know how to find you, so please your link in the Mr. Linky below. Also on Follow Friday we have a Feature…because alliteration is the way we roll. Each week is a different feature from the book blogging community. They are picked randomly or I give in after multiple harassing emails. Just depends on the week. If you want to be next weeks feature…leave your link. Our feature this week is… Logan E. Turner Hello lovelies! My name is Logan (really? I know, quelle surprise!) and I started my book blog in December 2010. I’m working on a YA manuscript, but haven’t read nearly enough YA books. I love challenges and starting a blog gave me a great excuse to join tons of reading challenges and expand my horizons a bit. I blog to share part of myself and connect with the rest of you awesome book bloggers, writers and authors. So far, I have not been disappointed. In the short time I’ve been blogging, I have met some truly amazing people, and I’m astonished by the amount of kindness and support shown to me on a near daily basis. I am so thankful to be featured this...

Feature & Follow Friday #29

Hi welcome to Follow Friday! Let me tell you what is going on today.  First PJV will be featuring one blogger from this great community each Friday along with having the Follow My Book Blog feature. Each week one blogger will be selected as a feature, so sign up for the Follow Feature. Future features are picked randomly. BTW, sorry this went late…I’ve had a few internet issues lately. Annette @ The More You Read, The More You Will Know! Hey everyone!  Happy New Year! This is Annette, and I started blogging in October of ’09 on a blog I still have, called “The Housework Isn’t Getting Done.”  On this blog, I posted about all of my hobbies—cooking, sewing, camping, and of course reading.  In September of 2010, I decided I wanted to become a more serious book blogger, and started my book blog called “The More You Read, the More You Will Know!”  I’m a high school librarian, so I blog mostly about YA books, or adult books that would be appropriate for teens. I have two grown kids, a husband, and a German Shepherd Dog named Mollie who is my spoiled rotten baby, so they all keep me busy when I’m not reading. I recently changed my blog design, so stop by and let me know what you think. I’m having a blast getting to know all...

Shannon @ Stalking the Bookshelves Hi, my name is Shannon, I”m going to turn 30 this month and you can generally find me Stalking the Bookshelves for the next great read!. I’m a happily married mother of two, who’s love for reading began when I was very short, no really, even shorter then I am now!  As the child of a military officer, I moved around a lot and often found myself alone in the summer without any friends. Since my siblings are a few years older then me, my mom would always find me the nearest library so I could stock up on books until school started. Books often helped me escape the uncertainty of a new place and as I got older, moving got easier (I even married someone in the military) but thankfully my love for reading never faded. Two months ago, I decided to give this whole blogging thing a try, not knowing a single thing...

Feature & Follow Friday #27 – Resolutions

Hi welcome to Follow Friday! Let me tell you what is going on today.  For New Years we are having a light hop…you can choose to join in if you would like, but I know that everyone is going to be super busy. I didn’t want to stop it, in case people were banking on me having one, but I don’t have a feature for today. I will ask a question though? What are your new years book blogging resolutions? A few people are doing these all over the bloggyverse, so if you want to link them up Melissa from My World…in words and pages has a great link up. http://melissa-melsworld.blogspot.com/2010/12/to-new-year.html if you are interested. My book blogging resolutions are as follows: Comment more. I stalk and don’t comment. So, I’m really going to try and actually say hi. Even if it is a “hi there.” Just to let my stalkees know I’m there 😉 I think I might start limit my review acceptance a little. I’m a bit overwhelmed and with the new kindle I’m not as on top of the paper books anymore I think I’m going to try to implement a note taking process while I read, this way I can just jot down initial thoughts, this might take some work More audio books…I’m addicted Try to find a local reviewer that wants to help out...
