The horizontal mambo.  A roll in the hayKnocking boots.  And my personal fave, the no pants dance.  (Okay- it’s a tossup between that and the freaky mcnasty.)  However you want to say it, romping is super fun, right?  It’s fun to write about, too.  And when you’ve got a character like Zane Wolfe from Hunter of Her Heart, it’s also not much of a stretch for the old imagination.  Or libido.

Not too long ago my lovely agent sent me a picture of how she sees Zane.  And it was spot on.  Think back to 1987 when the hair was big and the hunkiness was even bigger.  Remember The Lost Boys?  This movie was 100% responsible for launching me straight into puberty.  (Not only did it launch me, but I think I might have orbited the earth a few times as well.)  Billy Wirth starred as the hottie bad vampire.  The one with the long, dark hair.  And the leather pants.  And the “come hither, let me take a nibble” look.  THIS, ladies, is Zane.  Yes, Billy was a vampire and Zane is a werewolf, but the bangability is exactly the same.  Smoldering hot, motorcycle riding bad boys, who just want to get their women into bed as soon (and as often) as possible.  Yum.

For me, the romp part of the book is like the dessert you look forward to all throughout dinner.  You’ve been good.  You’ve eaten all you veggies.  And now you want something dark and rich and just a little bit naughty.  I’m biased, but I think Zane delivers in all three departments.

So if you’re looking for a good virtual romp (or freaky mcnasty), get to know Mr. Wolfe.  I’m betting he’ll leave you satisfied 😉
