Parajunkee gave to me…

Five Nicest Characters that will be getting everything they want this year!

The Nicest Characters in Literature

#5 Primrose Everdeen & Petta Mellark

The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins

There is no better or innocent character than Prim, her selflessness even led to the ultimate price. I hope Santa is taking care of poor Prim.

“Maybe you can win….” Prim

Nicest characters

Even when Peeta was homicidal, he was still semi-sweet. We hope Katniss is treating him well and that Santa is good to him this year.

“You love me, real or not real?”

#4 Hermione Granger

The Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling

The girl did everything for Harry and whenever she went against the grain the boys gave her Hell. I hope Hermione gets exactly what she wants for Christmas.

Hermione had taken his hand again and was gripping it tightly. He could not look at her, but returned the pressure, now taking deep, sharp gulps of the night air, trying to steady himself, trying to regain control. He should have brought something to give them, and he had not thought of it, and every plant in the graveyard was leafless and frozen. But Hermione raised her wand, moved it in a circle through the air, and a wreath of Christmas roses blossomed before them. Harry caught it and laid it on his parent’s grave.

#3  Mr. Darcy

Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen

Mr. Darcy might have seemed snobbish at first, but once you get past his Prideful side, you get to his true awesome niceness. While Elizabeth Bennett might be all he wished for, I hope Santa leaves him a little something this year.

“In vain have I struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.”

#2  Jacob Black

The Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer

Poor Jacob was led on by Bella, has no mamma to give him a hug, turns into a big slobbery wolf when upset and his girlfriend is in 2nd grade, so hopefully no one will report him to child services. Maybe Santa will give Nessie a growth spurt this year.

“Well, I’m so sorry that I can’t be the right kind of monster for you, Bella.”  – Jacob Black

Nicest Characters

#1  Lucy Pevensie

The Chronicles of Narnia Series by C.S. Lewis

I could have gone with the obvious for the #1 choice, there are so many sweet characters that deserve an extra present from Santa – characters like Anne Shirley from Anne of Greene Gables, or Mary Poppins, how about Nancy Drew? But, I’m going with Lucy, because even when her brothers harassed her and her friends sold her out to evil witches – she always forgave and helped them.  Lucy deserves love.

“To the glistening eastern sea, I give you Queen Lucy the Valiant.”
