A Profile of the ghosts of Ghost House

Name: Alexander Reade

Gender: Male

Occupation: Artist

Hair Color: Dark blond

Eye Color: Blue

Age at Death: Twenty-three

Personality In Life: In life, Alex was gentle, intelligent and very passionate about the things he loved. He was obviously tortured, like all artists are and looking for something more. He was highly intuitive and always able to understand why human beings behaved the way they did. Although he was not particularly warm, people always felt a sense of relief in his presence and were reluctant to leave him. He was not quick to anger, but hated the way Isobel was treated by his brother. When she became distressed, he was the only one who could calm her. He wanted to do the noble thing and tell Carter about the affair, but he let Isobel manipulate him out of doing the right thing.

Personality In Death: Alex’s personality was not altered much by death, although he will be forever haunted by what happened to his family. The biggest change is his relationship with Isobel. He hates what she has become and is forced to promise her his love in order to keep her violent outbursts under control.

Name: Isobel Reade

Gender: Female

Occupation: None

Hair Color: Black

Eye Color: Amber

Age at Death: Twenty

Personality In Life: In life, Isobel was very complex. Her beauty made her an object of desire for men and the envy of women. She had no friends, only lovers. Despite her haughty airs, she did not come from a wealthy background and without her looks, Carter would never have considered her eligible. Isobel was very clever and able to manipulate the people around her, primarily Alex. Deep down she hated Carter and wanted to get away from him, but she was not willing to give up the life she believed she deserved. She did love Alex, but she was too selfish to let him go. Although she would never admit it, she was always quite unhappy.

Personality In Death: In death, Isobel becomes twisted. She never got the chance to live the life she imagined for herself and is now consumed with bitterness and hatred. She lost her husband, her son and the love of her life in one day and the trauma of it, drove her spirit insane. The only part of her that is still human, is the part that still loves Alex.

Unfortunately, Alexander is no ordinary crush – he’s a former resident of her grandmother’s house who died over a century ago and whose ghost has not moved on.

As a small child, Chloe had been frightened by ghostly apparitions. But the spirits had one day disappeared and Chloe believed she had put her weird talent behind her. Now she can not only see Alexander but talk to him, even touch him in her dreams. Their connection is immediate and intense, but when their budding relationship awakens a vengeful spirit, Chloe’s tangled emotions could have dangerous consequences.
