PJV Quickie: Jessica Sims titles are those guilty pleasure PNRs that you just have to let yourself go to enjoy them. They are fun and sexy and at moments they just blow my mind, because they are so out there. The final book, WANTED: WILD THING was no different from the other in the series, funny, sexy and just a wee bit crazy.

I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

The final book in a romance series set in a “fun, sexy world” (USA TODAY), where paranormals seek love through a dating service called Midnight Liaisons.

Ryder is hiding a dark secret from her coworkers at Midnight Liaisons. Every time she’s sexually attracted to a man, her dragon side breaks through. Not exactly man-bait! But she needs to lose her virginity before her twenty-fifth birthday, or she’ll become a dragon forever.

Her solution? Big, hunky Hugh, the appointed guardian of her chastity. He’s clearly hot for her, but he has powerful reasons to resist Ryder. Can temptation—and love—possibly find a way?

Review: At times this book had me thinking “why do I think this is sexy?” It was like literally a caveman mating with a dragon. I was having flashbacks to Encino Man meets Lord of the Rings. But, for some strange reason, Sims made it sexy and sweet and at times laugh-out-loud funny. For a lighter side of Paranormal Romance you definitly want to check out Sim’s Midnight Liasons series. In the final book, you meet two very different characters, Ryder and Hugh. Ryder is a changeling that upon getting lustful thoughts turns into a dragon, scales, tails and all…and Hugh is a prehistoric were-beast from another dimension that has never ridden in a car or watched television. Match made in heaven.

Sims made it work. And credit to her writing prowess, I don’t know how she made it work. She just did.

A great series, a fun series, check out Jessica Sim’s Midnight Liasons if you are looking for a lighter PNR series to enjoy – and now that all books are out, no waiting!

Recommendations: Fans of Molly Harper should really enjoy, this is an adult series with lots of sexy time.
