I’m The Geeky Junkee, and I like to talk about those things that freak my geek. Join me on Fridays to talk about the awesome things.
2. Ok, so this is teacher specific, but I also purchased: Erin Condren Teacher Lesson Planner (yes, I know I have a problem)
I was using an iPad app for my lesson planning, but when I saw this lesson planner, I had to have it. It allows you to put everything in one place: Calendar, Meeting Notes, Absences, Lesson Plans, Checklists, Bound Folder, Bound Zip Pouch, Bound Page Protectors, and Personalization. I’m a high school teacher so some of the pages don’t apply to me. No big deal. I change them up and use them how I want. I use the Absences section to note students who are absent for big assignments such as tests, so I can track if they have made up the assignments or not. I use the checklists as a checklist rather than for grades. Here is the one I ordered, and I used a book nerd graphic instead of a family picture:
You can take a look here and get $10 off your first order.
3. If all the personalization isn’t your bag. Here is another awesome option: Lilly Pulitzer Agendas
This is the agenda I used last year before my Erin Condren discovery. The Lilly Pulitzer planner is more affordable at $34 for the jumbo planner. I like this planner too because it’s colorful and pretty to look at. You spend a year or 18 months with these planners, so I think you should like to look at them. This agenda has all the things you need: Monthly/Weekly views, a Different Design for Each Month, Notes, Stickers, and even a Horoscope page.
You can check them out here.
4. I also use my phone and iPad for a calendar: iCalendar App
I tend to like colorful things. I really like this app because I can tag different events with different colors. I also like the fact that I can read the event name and see the color in the month view:
5. Parajunkee has been geeking out on organizing PJV: Book Blogger Organization
So here is something Rachel has put together to help us get organized. If you blog, I’m sure you know it can be a bit of a logistical nightmare between the posts, reviews, review requests, tours, giveaways, and reveals. Rachel will have a future offering in the form of a Book Blogger Organizer download. So keep your eyes out for that.
