Welcome to the Feature & Follow

Increase Blog FollowersThe Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!

How does this work?

The goal is to increase blog followers and make friends. First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you! What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed. All features are chosen randomly to be the feature. They are not chosen by content or name.

Our Feature this week:

 Read Write All The Time

When did you start blogging?
I just started blogging this past November, so I am still kind of new to this whole blogging world.  Believe it or not, but I never thought of starting a blog until I read Jennifer L. Armentrout’s Lux novels.  The main character loved to read and had her own blog, which got me thinking about starting my own blog.

What is your favorite part of book blogging?
There’s so much that I love about blogging!  But my top favorites would have to be sharing my opinions about books and connecting with other bloggers and authors.  It’s amazing how many talented writers are out there right now, and the amount of people that loves books as much as I do is just over the top awesome!

What type of books do you mainly blog about?
Most of the time it’s young adult paranormal fantasy, romance, or science- fiction.  Pretty much anything in the young adult fiction category.

What is your favorite book(s)?
That’s a really hard question to answer because there are so many books that I love.  As of now, my top favorites are Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Prophesized Series by Kaitlyn Hoyt, Sweet Oblivion by Bailey Ardisone, the Lux, Covenant, and Dark Elements series by Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Significance Series by Shelly Crane!  There’s a lot more, but if I keep going on with this list, than I’ll never be able to stop.

What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of book blogging?
This one’s easy.  Getting my first review request from an author, and connecting with some of the nicest bloggers out there has been one of my most favorite and best moments since I started blogging.  And also getting the news that I was selected to be featured today- that was equally awesome! : )

This weeks Question:

What living author or authors would you like to have dinner with? (Try to think beyond JK Rowling)

I think I would like to go out to dinner with Karen Marie Moning, I think she would be awesome to hang out with and pick her brain.

Parajunkee, Urban Fantasy, Blogger TipsNew Feature! Next weeks question will be a share.

Have you met a favorite author and have a picture? Share.
