Welcome to the Feature & Follow
Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers — but you have to know — the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me.
The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee’s View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, (using the linky tools — keep scrolling!) then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
What sets this Hop apart from others, is our Feature. Each week we will showcase a Featured Blogger, from all different genres and areas. Who is our Feature today? Find out below. Just remember it is required, if you participate, to follow our Features and you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) as a courtesy. How do you follow someone? Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.
Our Feature – Mercurial Musings!

I am a reader, writer, and teacher. I moved around a lot as a kid and my books were my constant companions. Alice in Wonderland was, and is, my favorite book. I could identify with her as a kid, since I was constantly finding myself in new places, often feeling like an outsider looking in. I started my blog as a way to share my thoughts about what I’ve been reading or watching. Because I read at least one book each week and people are always asking me for recommendations, it seemed like starting a blog would be a great way to keep track of the books I’ve read and my thoughts about those books.
Q: What book would you love to see made into a movie or television show and do you have actors/actresses in mind to play the main characters?
This is such a scary question, because well, to see your favorite books redone into movies can be quite terrible if done wrong. Could you imagine seeing an actor you hate — in a character role that you love?
But I want to see Rhiannon Frater’s ‘As The World Dies’ series put into a few movies. The books were written to be made into movies, someone needs to do them justice.
If you have followed me via GFC you will no longer be able to get my feed via GFC or Blogger. I ask that if you use a reader, like Google Reader – just follow my RSS directly. That would be super!
<—- Just clicky clicky!
We have a new button, so update your blogs if you are used to doing this meme!

Happy Follow Friday! Come back at midnight CST for the Facebook & Twitter hop!!
The entire series has been optioned for a possible TV show or mini-series. I have my fingers crossed that it will get picked up, but Hollywood is an odd place. We’ll see.
I’m actually helping write the script with the producer. Trying for films is our last resort simply because we’d have to cut a ton of characters and scenes to make each book fit the hour and a half format.
My personal dream casting: Since Jenni is half-Latina, Odette Annable. Katie=Kristanna Loken Juan=Kuno Becker, Travis=Ben Browder (though Greg Vaughan would be great, too), and if Sigourney Weaver wanted to be Nerit, HELL YEAH!
Dream casting is always weird for me because my characters don’t look like famous people in my imagination, they just look like themselves.
This was really cool!
Hiya your blog is really nicely designed – here’s my FF

I really want to read this series!! It sounds great 🙂
I own the first book and I still have to read it! Great cast though. I do hate it when I love a book and dislike who they’re putting in the movie.
Great choice! I’m getting to start reading these. Anything with Sigourney Weaver is win!
