Welcome to the Feature & Follow
First I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone for participating in this meme. It has made the short list for BEST MEME – Book Blogger Appreciation Week Awards. We haven’t won yet, but the short list is pretty awesome! Thank you guys! Without your participation and support it wouldn’t be on the list XOXO!
If you are new to the #FF fun, Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, myself of course and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it’ll allow us to show off more new blogs!
How does this work? First you leave your name here on this post, then you create a post on your own blog that links back to this post (easiest way is to just grab the code under the #FF picture and put it in your post) and then you visit as many blogs as you can and tell them “hi” in their comments (on the post that has the #FF image). You follow them, they follow you. Win. Win. Just make sure to follow back if someone follows you!
Now to make this #FF interesting we do a FEATURE blogger. If you are interested in becoming a Feature click on the drop down link above FEATURES > Feature & Follow Friday and get on the waiting list! It is also required, that if you participate you must follow the hosts (Parajunkee & Alison Can Read) and the two Feature blogs.
I am an Account Executive and Mom by day and a book addict by night. You see, I have a touch of insomnia… which means that I often find myself needing something to keep me occupied long after normal people are asleep. I love to read, especially an intense paranormal series, during the wee hours of the night. If it is a really good book, I might look over at the clock at 6am and realize that I didn’t sleep at all! I believe that is why God invented coffee.
I started blogging because I didn’t have anyone in my daily life to talk to about the books I love to read. I’d finish an awesome book and be dying to talk about it, but couldn’t get it out! Blogging and writing reviews is my way of getting closure to the stories I read. I find that I need that in order to start something new. It has been great fun so far!!
Q. Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one??
Elixir by Hillary Duff – I want the bad guys to win just so they could kill everyone in the book and end it all – so there wouldn’t be a follow-up and I wouldn’t have to read anymore. Bleh…no more immortality for you…die die die.
