About the PJV
ABOUT THE PJV
Parajunkee’s View, started in August of 2009, primarily focuses on books, fiction genre books to be specific. But, over time the blog has morphed into a community outlet for much more, including movies (usually based on books), television shows and other entertaining, artistic outlets. The blog also features tutorials for other bloggers on how to improve their own blogs, and memes that target improving page views and networking. The blog was created by Rachel Rivera, who is also known as Parajunkee. She continues to maintain most of the blog, only letting go slightly of the reigns on the weekends, when her friend and fellow New Orleanian, Patti of LovesFabRomance slips in a bit of contemporary romance.
Parajunkee.com has won several awards, including the BBAW Best Written Blog Award and Best Feature awards. Parajunkee.com was also a finalist in the Goodreads.com Independent Book Blog awards.
Rachel, whom you might know as Parajunkee, is the blog owner of parajunkee.com and the design blog parajunkee.net. Rachel has been blogging for over four years, designing / web programming for over twelve, but her real love, reading, has been her favorite hobby since childhood. Rachel has won numerous awards for her writing, the blogs she has created and her design work. You can find Parajunkee on Twitter.

The Romance Junkee
LovesFabRomance aka Patti – Introvert, worrier, owner of the blog “Caught in a FAB Romance” and Romance guru on Parajunkee’s View. I work full time, have been married to my high school sweetie for 20 years (I’ve decided to keep him) and have three awesome children to show for it. I read to get away from it all… You can also find me on twitter: @lovesfabromance
The Geeky Junkee
Like all of my fellow reviewers, I’m an avid reader. I fell in love with Urban Fantasy and Paranormal books years ago. Basically, I’m a nerd who teaches and writes and reads and rambles. And I really like to talk about things that freak my geek. What freaked your geek today?
PJV Reviewers & Bloggers:
I am a 17 year old from New York who spends way too much time reading. I read any type of young adult and new adult fiction. You might know me as the blogger of DanaSquare; square is the English translation of my last name. I suffer from bouts of fangirling that causes a lot of crazy tweets either about books or TV Shows; I am an addict.
I have an unhealthy habit of picking the wrong guy in love triangles, preferring a well-crafted villain over a well-chiseled set of abs, and delighting in book endings that are more bitter than sweet.Somehow I balance working from home as my husband’s dispatcher with protecting my home from a terrorizing toddler. On the off chance that I don’t have a book in my hands, you can find me creating my own fictional fantasies. You’re welcome to stalk me at Lizzy’s Dark Fiction or on twitter.
Mother. Book blogger, book reader, book lover, book writer. I also make a mean pizza pie. Find Lori on Twitter.
I’m a girl with a never-ending, constantly growing to-be-read list. I have a pile of physical books that I have bought with the intention of reading “one day”, and the pile, if laid end to end, measures over 9 and a half feet. I also have a nasty habit of cheating and reading the last few pages of a book while I’m still in the middle. I’m a Potterphile and a Library Professional, and if it were real, I’d take over the Hogwarts Library in a heartbeat.
I’m just a girl who adores books! Reading has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I’m hoping I can pass that on to my son. When I’m not buried in a book I enjoy spending time with family, kicking my husband’s butt in video games, and watching my favorite TV shows (I sort of have an unhealthy obsession with reality TV). Random fun facts: I used to be a Registered Nurse until I realized I just wasn’t happy, and my husband is 20 years older than me! Feel free to connect with me on Twitter: @jamesterck
