 A Really Bad Summer Poem

Summer, Summer, Summertime

[br] Should be sipping on a Corona…[br]But, not without the lime. [br][br]Instead, I’m holed up trying to stay cool[br] Braless and maxing out the a/c[br]Glaring at the neighbors with the pool.[br][br]Hiding from the puffs of white floating in the air[br]Allergies making me sneeze my head off[br]The highlight of my day, dying my hair.   [br][br]Oh, Summer, Summer, hot and sticky summer[br]You used to mean so much to me[br]Now, all you are to me is a bummer.   [br][br]Now I get rashes from the heat all over my ass[br]When before I ran wild, not a care to be had.[br]I miss you, Summer, I miss the idea of you.[br]But, really I miss you fall…please hurry up and get here.   [br][br] The End (Thank God!)

I like your poem! Isn’t if funny how our feelings about summer (or any other season) change as we get older? I could really live with that balmy, cool weather of fall forever and I’d be just happy!
