Nevada Baylor is faced with the most challenging case of her detective career—a suicide mission to bring in a suspect in a volatile case. Nevada isn’t sure she has the chops. Her quarry is a Prime, the highest rank of magic user, who can set anyone and anything on fire.

Then she’s kidnapped by Connor “Mad” Rogan—a darkly tempting billionaire with equally devastating powers. Torn between wanting to run or surrender to their overwhelming attraction, Nevada must join forces with Rogan to stay alive.

Rogan’s after the same target, so he needs Nevada. But she’s getting under his skin, making him care about someone other than himself for a change. And, as Rogan has learned, love can be as perilous as death, especially in the magic world.

Review: The world Ilona Andrews created is one of magic, caste like systems, with noble houses based on their magic ability. The main character is Nevada Baylor, who is very low on the totem pole as far as families. Her family runs a private investigative firm that is indebted to one of the big corporation families. Because of her debts, she is forced to track down what is called a Prime, the pinnacle of magic users. While deep in the case, she is assisted by one of the scariest Primes on the planet… Connor “Mad” Rogan who received his nick-name during the war. They make one crazy duo and their interactions during one very intense adventure make this novel fantastic.

Hey readers…let me introduce you to the next great PNR/UF couple… Mad & Nevada. Next year watch, Mad will be on all the “hot boy” lists.

Fantastic plot, ridiculously meticulous world building and characters that will burrow inside you and take up residence. Don’t miss out on BURN FOR ME.

Recommendations: For fans of the great authors Jeaniene Frost and Karen Marie Moning, you’ve got to experience Ilona Andrews. The novel is said to be a trilogy, in which the romance arc will conclude in the final book. Sounds like I’m gonna die…
