    Nice list :)

I can tell you that I’m kind of sad that I read Allegiant because in my opinion it really goes off the rails with how it ends. I actually had a review and a rant at the end of the review for that book.

  • Melissa’s Eclectic Bookshelf

Great list! I should have put Not a Drop to Drink on my list too! I haven’t even read Divergent yet, but I am worried after hearing feedback for Allegiant!

  • Alisa Kepner

Dark Triumph was amazing. You should definitely read it. And I love the new blog design! You come up with the best ideas.

  • Annette Mills

I was meh about Taken, but you must read Dark Triumph. i really loved that one. A few others here I should add to my list too!

  • Bunny Cates

DARK TRIUMPH was AWESOME! So was OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LANE. Love me some Gaiman! I haven’t heard of most of yours though. Im so out of the loop this year. :(

    Have a great day, Rachel!

Love this list. Thanks for sharing.

Great list! I really enjoyed Gameboard of the Gods and Omens, so hope you’re able to get to them soon. And anything by Neil Gaiman is good, and The Ocean at the End of the Lane doesn’t disappoint. Enjoy!

The only book on that list I’ve read is Allegiant – and I just barely squeezed it in before we hit 2014. I’m gonna have to read The Hollows series. I’ve been missing out on a lot of discussions!

  • Lenore

Great list! I read Richelle Mead’s Age of X and while I love her, I was not crazy about this book. I am also terrified of Allegiant. I suppose I will get to it eventually…

  • Rainy Dayz Reviewz

Great list. I’ve read a couple of them but didn’t like Allegiant at all.

  • Rachel

Oh I wanted to read TAKEN, too. Shoot! And while I missed Allegiant, I’ve been hesitant to read it. I was alerted to some things which made me wary. And I tried picking it up at least 30 times but couldn’t make it past the first para. I suppose I just wasn’t in the mood. I think I might wait to see the final film before picking up the book.

And I have to check out Kelley Armstrong’s new series!

    • Terri M LeBlanc

I was excited about Allegiant as well and then one of my good reading pals gave it a low grade and I haven’t been all the excited to pick up my copy.

  • Bonnie @ Words at Home

When I read that you missed Allegiant, I realised that I also missed Insurgent! 2013 was a big year of catching up on my TBR pile and as a result I missed just about every new release there was!

LOL I was sad I missed some of these, too. Especially Ever After and Omens. *sigh* Good thing it’s a new year! 😉
