Yikes!! Black cats are so creepy but I like your cover better that the official one. I love black and white pics they are so much more dramatic.

I love the look of it! I don't particularly love the cat, just because she doesn't have one in the book. But it is really good!

I don't know the book so can't say if it fits the story. That said: I'd probably pick up the original cover sooner than yours as it tells more of a story with just the picture. Yours is beautiful, but doesn't intrigue me as the orignal cover does.

I like how the decoration around the font matches the tiara she's wearing, and I love that the only color in the picture is the cat's eyes. Spooky! Great job!
